We’d like to give a special thank you to our friends at Chesapeake Bay Magazine for including the Chesapeake Chair in their Holiday Gift Guide, December edition.  Chesapeake Bay Magazine plays an important role in the Chesapeake Bay community and we are honored to be featured so prominently here.

    Chesapeake Chair Co is about as small and as lean as a 2 person business can be at the moment. Our story is as colorful ,genuine and full of hysterical stories. Just like our friendship!
    Jason and I share a very similar views on just about everything. Especially the outdoors! We compliment each others strengths as well as weaknesses which keeps us balanced!
    One thing we agreed on in the earliest stage of forming the Chesapeake Chair Company was becoming 1% for the Planet members.
    So donating this chair to the Patagonia DC store to help promote 1% percent was a labor of love and a small way to give back.
    If one child or their parent sits in our chair, feels the engraving of 1% and asks what it is, or it motivates them to join 1% for the Planet then it’s done it’s job! If they decide to purchase our product that’s just a bonus as far as we are concerned.
    If your in DC come by and sit with us and learn more about 1% for the Planet!
